Ikea Bathroom ReModel on a Budget...

Joe and I went to Ikea last weekend and found some great ideas for our spare bathroom and decided to get it all and redo the bathroom in three days!!  It was so much fun that every muscle in my body was hurting from all of the work.  :)

Here it is before...

And this is how the project went...

My wonderful hubby tore out the old sink and vanity so we had to lay more floor tile where the vanity was.

Hubby hard at work...

We decided to put this tile on the wall.  I LOVE the tile!  We put it behind the new vanity too because the back is open and you can see it when you open the cabinets.

After we finished the tile and grout, my hubby had to do the plumbing....

The new sink and vanity!!  We chose this because the bathroom is small and is hard to get Ryan in and out for his bath.  Putting this smaller sink and vanity in gives us an extra foot and a half when you come in the bathroom.  It seems so big in there now!

I took the shelf off of the wall so we could install a new cabinet to hold the towels since the vanity is too small to hold towels.

The new mirror and vanity.  LOVE!!

My newest owl  ;)

All finished!!

The new cabinet for the towels.

I LOVE you Ikea!!

I am so glad that our quick little three day project is done so I can show it to you!

What do you think?

Do you love Ikea too??

  19. I've always done my own because I can't find neat tilers or builders who understand waterproofing.

  20. IKEA is actually amazing. I also like their furniture and the way you have produced a new look to your bathroom really makes a difference. I also liked the plant in the bathroom - the green color brings more freshness.

  21. This is truly a nice job you've done. IKEA is thankfully not far by from where I live. They should open more locations :) , as their stuff is contemporary and good looking.

  22. If you are squeamish about cleaning the bathroom, keep reminding yourself that the importance of a clean bathroom simply can not be over emphasized. Usually bathrooms need not be cleaned everyday. For most families, a two or three week cycle is suitable. However, make sure to clean the bathroom when the soap film on the floor is still reasonably thin, as this will make your job a lot easier. gebäudereinigung preis
