Master Bath Organization...

I am SO very blessed that I only have two bathrooms in my home!!!  With three boys and the hubbs, I clean the bathrooms constantly and couldn't imagine cleaning any more than the two I have.  ;)

I am going to start by showing you how I organize my Master Bath:

This is how our bathroom looks as you are walking into it.  My favorite part is the new curtains that I made to go in there.  I just love them!!!  We are planning on re-doing our bathroom in the future and changing the sinks, tub, and flooring out.

You can see that on our counter, I use two baskets to organize our "his" and "her" things that we like to keep out all of the time.  In my basket, I have a glass jar with rice in it to hold all of my makeup brushes, mascara, and eyeliner.  I love that they are put in a place where I can just grab them when I need them.  I use The Confident Mom to help me organize and clean my home, and I change my hand towel out often to make sure it is clean.  :)  About 2 years ago we painted our vanity cabinet and put new hardware on the cabinets.  It was so cheap to fix up and saved us so much money!!

I have this cabinet over my toilet.  I love that I can put things in the cabinet so others can not see them. I keep my lotions and body sprays in this cabinet. I usually keep extra toilet paper in the basket on the bottom.  Looks like I need to re-stock that.  ;)

This is our little linnen cabinet.  I keep our towels, hand towels,  and washcloths in the top in separate baskets to keep them all neat and organized.  In the bottom, I keep my extra beauty supplies, and all of my nail polish.

The next few pictures gives you a closer view of the linnen cabinet.  :)

I keep my friend scale out so I can step on it when I feel like I need to weigh myself.  I try to only get on that lovely thing  it once a week.

This is under my husband's side of the sink.  Pretty boring....  ;)  But organized.
I keep all of my hair cutting clippers here and save money by giving all of my Dudes a haircut myself.  I try to line up their cuts in the same day once a month.

This is under my side of the sink.  I have a lot of stuff that I threw away when I organized under my sink. I think it is important to go through all of your drawers and cabinets once a month and re-organize them and throw away or donate the things you haven't used in a while.  I love organizing in baskets if you haven't been able to tell yet.  ;)

Now we will move on to the boy's bathroom.  I clean theirs more often because it is in the main area of the house and when we have company over they use this bathroom as well.  My boys are mischievous and like to make messes, so I check this bathroom every evening to make sure everything is good in there.  LOL

This is what the boy's bathroom looks like when you walk in.  Since I have three boys, it was easy for me to make it work for them.  I used colors that I already have in my home so that there is a constant theme thorough all of the rooms.

This is one of the newer items we have put in the bathroom and it makes a huge difference!  I spray painted a shelf red to match, and used old decorative wipe boxes to store things in.  I use one for their soap and the other for toilet paper.  I love the faux plant on the shelf too!  Soon, we are planning to frame in the mirror like we did in our Master Bath.  I think it looks so much nicer. I will have to put that on the hubby to do list.  ;)

This is a little "girly" but matches the colors in the bathroom.  I love to use baskets and bins to put things in to keep them organized.  I keep all of their toothpaste and toothbrushes in here, as well as their floss.

I also love to hang pictures in any room when I can.  I love the construction pictures.  They just so happened to match the bathroom, so I added them in.

One of my favorite things in the boy's bathroom is their curtain.  I found it at target a while back and just love it!!  I love owls, and there are a few of them scattered here and there in the print.  I think that the curtain is just SO fun!

I use Shaklee products to clean my home.  For my bathrooms, I use Shaklee's Basic G (germicide), and Basic H window cleaner on my mirrors.  The window cleaner cost me one penny to make from my Basic H concentrated cleaner. I mix one to two drops in the bottle with 16 oz of water.  I also use Shaklee Hand Wash Concentrate in my bathrooms.  I love my Shaklee because they are All Natural and safe for my family!!

So that is how I clean and organize my bathrooms.  Come back soon to see how I organize my children's rooms.

  5. I love how much storage you have! We have a pedestal sink in our one bathroom, so no counter space and no cabinet space...it's a bummer. Thanks for sharing at The Fun In Functional!

  6. Your bathrooms both look great! We don't have a master bathroom (all 4 of us share the upstairs one - yikes!) so I'm jealous of how beautiful yours is :) The boys' bathroom looks really nice too. Great job! Visiting from Fun in Functional.

    1. Hi! Thanks for commenting! I honestly do not know the name of the fabric but I think I got it from Joann.com or Fabric.com. I need to start writing these things down. If I can find it, I will let you know! :) Thank you!

  11. I totally understand the bathroom thing! I have three bathrooms and I keep the one in the basement locked so no one can use it just to avoid having to clean it! I'm jealous of your huge master bath! That is the one thing I would change about our house!

This looks great! I love the shower curtain. I think we have almost the same bathroom cabinets as you. I use plastic tubs on each shelf too. Makes life so much easier to organize. Thanks so much for linking up to Creative Thursday. Can’t wait to see what you share this week! Have a great day :)
